Don't mess with Texas

A trip to the great state of Texas is not complete without a exciting trip to the rodeo. So thats just what we did. But of course we first needed great Texas BBQ. After dinner in the downtown Fort Worth area , which by the way is totally how you picture Texas in your head(cowboy hat and boot shop on every corner), we headed off to the rodeo. The kids loved it! They called all the kids down into the ring and let loose a baby calf and a old sheep. Goal, retrieve the ribbon off the neck of these animals. I Wish I had a better camera, I wasn't able to capture this rodeo tradition because of the lighting, too dark. The kids had a great time. But of course Brooklynn our most unaminal lover was totally distraught when the calf roping started. She thought it was the most mean thing ever! All in all we had a great time!
